The AAClub App collects the following types of data:
Location Data
The App collects location data only after the user has granted permission. This includes background location access to support a core feature that detects when a user is near a facility location and enables a seamless check-in experience by prompting access to their access card barcode. Location data is processed on device to trigger relevant notifications and is not stored by the App, nor is it stored on our servers or shared with any third parties. Users can manage or disable location permissions at any time through their device settings.
Fitness Classes or Event Participation Data
We collect data related to your participation in fitness classes or events (such as attendance records) to track participant attendance and ensure space requirements are met.
We may also collect other basic information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, membership details, or account information when you create an account or interact with the App.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
• Provide and improve the core features of the AA Club App, including seamless facility check-in and event/class management.
• Send relevant notifications about nearby facilities or events (based on on-device processing).
• Track attendance for fitness classes and events to manage capacity and planning.
• Maintain your membership account and respond to your requests.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain user data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law.
